I had told the boys to think about what they wanted to do before school starts on Thursday. So this morning while it was sunny we went to check out the neighborhood pool (after a fun talk on the phone with Grammy). The pool was nice-the whole thing is about 4 1/2 feet deep but it is quite large and a fun thing to do for variety. Then it got cloudy and started to thunder after we had been there about an hour. So we came home, took showers, and went to McDonalds for lunch-they had an indoor playground and the kids really enjoyed that.
Scott told me that he saw a mouse over near the play structure. I thought he was joking-I was still sitting at the table where we had eaten our lunch. He said that it was a real mouse so I went to investigate. He was telling the truth! Thankfully it was not running around the playground, but sadly it was stuck in some sticky stuff on a square tile looking thing that I assumed was some kind of trap. Don't know what that says about the sanitation of the restaurant??? We had already eaten by then-don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing? Oh well, we had fun.
