Fun Winter things before graduation

We went to the cabin in Blue Ridge, GA and enjoyed the snow

the lovely warmth of a real woodburning fireplace and some target shooting.  We also enjoyed burgers at Sue's with Aunt Boo!

We also spent a weekend at a cabin in Asheville, NC-both cabins also had hot tubs which was fun too!

Ryan turned 16 and we got another driver in the family
This was a cake and brownie and icing concoction that Ryan dreamed up and asked me to make to celebrate him turning 4 squared!  We celebrated with snacks, games with a friend, and cake.

We did a driving trip in March so Scott could look at Virginia Tech

and NC State in order to make a college decision.

Ryan ran track as a sophomore.

Our dogs provide everyone a lot of entertainment

Graduation

It was exciting that we were going to have graduation in person and that we would get more than just 2 tickets to take family members.  There was a funny ticket fiasco because we though Scott's girlfriend Jenna would get to go into graduation with the band (which didn't end up playing).  I thought we had an extra ticket so I invited Scott's closest in age cousin to come with Greg's mom and wanted this to be a surprise for Scott.  When we found out the band wasn't going to be playing, I got another ticket for Jenna from a friend who had a son graduating also.  Then later that friend needed another ticket for someone else,  I finally broke down and gave the surprise away to Scott-surprises can be very stressful!  It all turned out fine and we all had a nice evening celebrating Scott.  Greg and I can't believe we have a graduate!

Ashley and I had fun decorating the house for Scott!

Hanging out before graduation

We truly would have had a better view from watching online at home.  Our seats were literally on the very top farthest away from the floor row in the arena!  We had to sit in our assigned seats with our "pod" of ticket people.

Graduates were seated spaced six feet apart-as many as would fit on the floor and overflowed into the seats in the lower levels.

Afterwards!

with his friend Aidan-they have known each other since 7th grade

Back at the house after graduation-we ate, opened gifts,  and then went to the pool for a little while.  It was a fun and special evening celebrating our graduate together!
