Ashley and Ryan's school has skate nights and this was the last one of the year. We had not been before, but after Ashley's experience at a birthday party where she decided skating is terrific, she wanted to go. The boys had never been on skates before so we took them along. It was interesting, funny, and thankfully we all left at the end with no broken bones! I did not skate-too inconvenient to risk a broken anything for Mom.

The boys stayed on the carpet and held tight to anything there was available to grab onto for the first several rounds.

The boys agreed that it got easier by the end of the evening, but since there is a bowling alley next door, the boys said next time they would have more fun bowling with Greg and letting me watch Ashley skate.
