Subic Bay-part 1

We went to Subic Bay from Dec 21-23.  We wanted Bev to get to see more of the Philippines than just where we live and also to see it ourselves.  It took about 3 hours Wed. morning to drive there, we left our things at the Camayan Resort, and then went next door to Ocean Adventures.  We saw their aquarium, ate lunch, and changed for our dolphin encounters.  Scott, Bev, and Greg got to actually swim with the dolphins out in the deep part of the pool.  Ryan and Ashley weren't old enough for that, so we did what they called a beach encounter-we were out in about 2 1/2 feet of water and got to do everything that the other group did except going for a ride with the dolphin pulling us through the water.  It was GREAT fun for all of us.

Here are some pictures from our drive in

Each of the kids got to open 1 present in the car-a new book to keep them occupied while we drove and Grammy brought them a little toy great for the car-small wooden blocks attached with a string-that you can move around and make things out of.

Here is Ashley trying it out!

 Seeing the aquarium
Looking out at the dolphin pens
 Our little scuba divers!

Exploring more of the park and piggy back rides while we wait for our dolphin encounter time-what are brothers for?  She only got dropped once.

Greg, Scott, and Bev getting ready
They got to give the dolphin commands

These animals are  bigger than you think
Ashley, Ryan, and me in the water-yes Ryan is feeding the dolphin a fish!

These much closer pictures were taken by the Ocean Adventure photograper-petting the dolphin-they are very smooth and slick!

Getting kisses!

Ashley and Ryan get to sit!

We were amazed at God's creation seeing all the animals and surrounded by the mountains and ocean and all the tropical trees-more posts about the rest of the trip coming!
