Diving and Snorkeling in Cebu

This was the boat we were planning to dive from but when we came back from our first shore dive we found that it had hit a rock and was taking on water.  So we had to wait around for the divemaster to get another boat!  Life is always an adventure here!
We did get to dive and saw lots of cool things and this was our first trip after Scott's official certification last Spring when he got to dive with us.  I think he loves it as much as his Grandpa Allen did!
I call these Gingerbread starfish because of their brown and white color
We saw lots of "nemos" swimming in their anemones
Here is Scott in all his gear

Here are Scott and I together

On Christmas day, all of us went on a boat ride and snorkeling together!

The boat pulled up to this "house" and we went down the side stairs to snorkel in the marine sanctuary area.  It was lots of fun!

Here is Bev getting all ready!
Ashley doesn't actually use her snorkel much-she prefers to look at the fish as long as she can hold her breath and then lift her head up-she always has something to say by that point anyway!

 Here is Ryan underwater!

Here we all are-Scott is looking underwater and not at the camera!

 Below are Scott and Bev
a self portrait that Greg took!

 These fish were hungry!
and these two were more than happy to feed them and watch them jump with open mouths to fight over the food!

On the boat ride back-the below pictures are blurry because I didn't wipe the lens after it had been in the water but love both of them!
Wind makes Ryan's hair even CRAZIER than usual!
