Back in Greenville!

2nd post of the day-We flew into Greenville, had a rental car barely big enough to hold the five of us so we had to get a van to take all of our luggage to our hotel-which was mid-renovation and quite an experience, but we were back!

Here are some pictures of our first visit to what would be our new house!

This walkway goes from one side of the upstairs to the other and we call it the bridge.  It's funny to me even now to look at this house empty without our stuff in it!  We went from mid-August finding out we were really going to move to 2 months later being ready to close on a house.  I spent HOURS looking at houses online and then Greg and his mom looked at my favorites when he was in the US on a business trip early September.  I stayed up until 2 or 3 am in Manila and Greg gave me facetime tours of his favorites and this was our choice!
Greg and our realtor in the kitchen
family room-one of the few things we don't like about this house is that it has a gas fireplace-you literally turn on the fire with a switch!  That's cheating!  it doesn't smell right, sound right or heat very well!
breakfast area-door goes out to deck-family room to the right
dining room-door in the background is the front door
backyard-a swingset already there!  and 3 swings!

already fenced and ready for the dog!
 Greg's rental car
 master bedroom
upstairs laundry room!  The first time I've had a laundry ROOM, not just a closet and these are INSIDE (in Manila, we were grateful that the owner bought us a new washer and dryer but they were a small stackable set that was outside)

Ashley's room, bathroom of her own, and closet
The doorway upstairs goes to Ryan's room, the boys share a bathroom,  Scott's room is to the right just out of the picture and the doorway you can see downstairs is to a bathroom and the playroom.  Really happy with our new house-closing was just a couple of days after these pictures were taken.
