Scott is getting SO grown up!

 He is playing a scale on his euphonium and the keyboard at the same time!

 With his good friend Deniz, from Turkey.  He came over one Sunday afternoon to play.  The boys went for a run up our street where the boys frequently ride their bikes together and were gone so long that I was beginning to wonder what had happened to them.  Well, when they did come back, Deniz was missing a shoe.  A dog had been chasing them and Deniz abandoned his shoe getting away.  Thankfully no one was hurt and we were able to recover the shoe!

 All 4 of the 5th grade classes left this morning to go to camp and will return around lunchtime on Friday!  Scott was super excited.  The place where they are going has a zipline and pool and there are lots of fun activities planned!  At the kids school 4th-8th graders all go to camp-our Moms in Prayer group has been praying for this for weeks now! 

Last year, we did get text updates from teachers and Scott even called me from a teacher's phone one evening just to chat.  Now that they are big 5th graders they don't do that any more.  So I told Scott that I hoped NOT to hear from him, since if I did it would mean that either he was hurt or misbehaving!  It will be q little quieter here for a couple of days.  Hopefully he will have some fun pictures when he comes back and I know they will have a great time!
