Our crew ready for the day! I couldn't resist the hats!
Please just skip on ahead if you don't want to see way too many children in their own national costumes!
Ready to watch the parade of nations!
Everyone crowding in for pictures
Below is Ryan marching with his class
Below is Scott's class-his teacher is in the black dress with white embroidery
Below are some of the younger kids going back to the ELC-I have never seen a British flag as a dress made entirely out of sequins-that is what the little girl in the front of the line was really wearing!
Daniel, the cowboy and Ryan on their way back to class
Ashley got a little time to play with Ryan-in just a couple of months, her dress will be short enough to be a shirt!
The culture fair set up in the gym-the canadians always have a net set up for playing hockey
Our American corner-kids could try to lasso the horse
Ryan and his friend Daniel playing a game where you walk on top of coconut shells
Sack racing-Ryan is in the red shirt in the middle
These children were from the Philippine Folklore foundation and danced and played beautifully
Ashley and Scott tried to catch our runaway horse-borrowed from a restaurant
Scott enjoyed the wild west shoot out-with a water pistol
He did the sack race too-this was done at the Venezuela table-I thought that was an American thing???
Ashley enjoyed playing these drums at the South African table
Here are some more Philippine children playing instruments for us
Scott had swim team after school that day-he looks like such a big kid, stretched out ready to jump in-I can't believe that he is almost 10!
We went over to our friends, the Yaps, house for an early pizza dinner and then returned to school together to see the middle school play.
It was called Into the Woods and involved several fairy tales put together
Jack and the Beanstalk
Little Red Riding Hood
Cinderella
The wolf-above-had amazing make-up and costume
Rapunzel in her tower
