Recent Activities

Ashley had a classmate over for a playdate after school!  They had a blast together!

a recent chapel at school-Joe Mauk talks about tops and shares Jesus with the kids.  Each top needs a string to get it spinning and an anchor on the end of the string-like Jesus is the string that connects us to our anchor God
This row is Ashley's class-the Kindergarteners were invited over to the theater to join the big kids for chapel!

Joe can do tricks with a chinese top or diabolo too

This is the largest top he brought to show the kids-it weighs 5 pounds
Ashley's class has been talking about living things and they have had guppies, goldfish, earthworms and both land and water snails in their classroom.  Here is the fish picture that she made

Here are Greg and I all dressed up for the George Washington Birthday Ball.

Scott took this one before we left home

Didn't know that we were going to get to have our picture made with George!

Below we are with Jane and Angus-he is the Manila office General Manager.

While Ashley and I were at the Frozen birthday party having fun, the boys were doing this!  Carefully studying some drawings that Greg had brought home of the new Fluor building that is being built here in Manila.  He printed the drawings out to show Scott's boy scout troop when we host a meeting on engineering.  They are going to get to visit the building site too and are making catapults from milk cartons, straws and plastic spoons, and building bridges.  I think the boys are going to LOVE it!

This is the new teapot I bought for myself because I miss my collection in storage at home!
The afternoon I bought it Ashley and I had pink lemonade "tea" from it when she got home from school.  She said that it was just exquisite!  She has obviously read too much Fancy Nancy!
