Luke could get up on this window ledge but when he tried to turn around on the ledge, he fell off-the ledge wasn't wide enough for him!
He has to work at it and it takes some serious effort and several tries but Luke can get up the steps-thankfully not the ones up to Ashley's room and the playroom! They are taller than these 2 steps.
Last night around midnight, I heard the vertical blinds in our room moving around. I thought the air conditioner was blowing them as has happened many times before. Greg got out of bed to go investigate and turned on light because he thought there was something in our room. I must admit that I went farther under the covers and scooted to the middle of the bed because I didn't want whatever it was to run across me in the bed.
Greg found the kids hamster, Luke in the room with us! Yesterday was Ryan's day to feed him and Ryan had left the cage door open-apparently sometime during the night Luke decided to get out and do some exploring. I had fallen asleep early but Greg had gotten up and gone back in the den for something so the doors were open. Our bedroom door has a rubber strip on the bottom so Luke wouldn't have been able to get in otherwise.
Greg caught him and put him back in the cage and we have had a talk about making SURE that the cage door is closed. Now I just wonder what was playing in the blinds in our room while Greg was gone on his last business trip????
