A beautiful sky one evening
On Easter Sunday we saw some famous things in Bohol-the tarsier monkeys-we saw 3 in trees-that didn't look too happy that we had woken them. Sadly you are not allowed to hold them because they bite we were told. They only live in Bohol and a few other places in the Philippines.
Katherine said they looked like aliens and apparently someone else did too!
Nipa huts-called because the roofs are made from nipa grass-a kind of native Philippine house
The Loboc River
We could have taken a lunch cruise on one of the boats but decided not to
How many people can you put on a scooter? The first one in line was the winner with 4
Ashley had gotten caught asleep in her Daddy's lap
After seeing the tarsiers we went to a butterfly sanctuary-there was a tarsier there too!
Ashley was waving to the butterfly
We had a great guide who told us lots of interesting things about butterflies and the kids enjoyed holding them
Greg found a spider at the butterfly sactuary and of course had to get a picture-it's another game-can you find the spider?
