We were there during Epcot's several month flower festival and the bushes and flowers were all really pretty. As a child I remember asking my dad why he couldn't make our bushes look like characters like the ones at Disney-I think he just laughed in response!
This was the mission space ride-very cool-it was like you were being launched into space. Everyone had a spaceship job and there was a screen to look at like you were looking out the window of the spaceship-each individual "ship" moved around simulating like you were flying but you weren't really. It was a neat ride and we did it several times.
The outside of the space ride building
funny store merchandise
We went to the Crush turtle talk-while we waited looked around at the aquarium-Crush is the turtle from the Finding Nemo movie and he comes on screen and kids get to ask him questions and he responds-mainly designed for little kids but ours thought it was interesting and funny.
walking around-we saw some cool shows at Epcot including one at old Disney cartoons through the years
We finally made it over to the area of all the countries-Japan
Looking back across the lake at the golf ball
Ashley with the Lady and the tramp bushes
Ashley and I walked to Italy and got pizza for lunch
and came back to sit with the boys having their burgers in America
We rode the boat back across to do some more rides-probably one of the few things I wish I had done differently-the rides were neat but I didn't have as much time as I wanted in the countries area
Looking for shade while waiting outside in line for a ride
turtles and rays
and Ryan oh my!
Never such a thing as too many Mickeys
rays and Nemos and divers
Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker from the Muppets
Ashley and I decided we would meet some characters and had fun with Mickey, Goofy, and Minnie
Acrobat show outside the Nine Dragons Chinese restaurant where we had dinner that night
the restaurant was really beautiful
Ashley's dinner
Egg roll and ginger ice cream for dessert
The golf ball lit up at night-so pretty We rode the Spaceship Earth ride inside which was really neat-a journey through time and man's progress in technology
Ashley, Greg, and Scott went back to the ride Soarin' We had to get out of a line we had been waiting in for over an hour in order to get to our dinner reservation. Ryan really wanted to buy a souvenir so I did that with him instead. The ride is supposed to be like you are hang gliding over many famous landmarks worldwide. They said it was a really neat ride and Greg said he felt bad that I had missed that one.
By this time our feet were too tired to do any more walking so we went home!
