2nd post of the day-This is a nearby neighborhood with a large lake and there are always people here walking, running, and walking dogs. They had fun feeding the ducks too but I was afraid to let Max get to close to the water for fear that he would end up in the water and I would also!
Greg has now taught Scott and Ryan to play Risk!

As I am looking at these pictures at the end of August I am longing for fall to come quickly and along with it cooler weather-though the last few days have been much more pleasant-less humid and highs around 80 instead of nearly 100.
The below picture is one of the few things we don't like about our new house. It is a gas fake fireplace that uses a fan to blow out the measly amounts of heat it produces for the high price of using gas. There is actually a switch on the wall to flip it on! That is just wrong!!!! In our forever house someday we will have a real woodburning fireplace!
Just a little too happy about the potential of getting someone really good with a snowball-I wonder who they get that from????? their Daddy???? both grandads????? and definitely Great Grandaddy Cook!!!
