 Some friends of Chris and Jodi's in Chattanooga have a dog kennel and had a few boy black labrador puppies.  So Greg talked to their friend on the phone and we drove up (without the children knowing where we were going) to look at the puppies.  We brought home this 10 week old sweet little one and the kids were SO excited!

We had been talking about getting a dog since before we moved to Manila but had to put it off and they had been asking about it again several times since we have been back.

It was New Year's EVE so we were only staying one more night in Atlanta but Max missed his puppy brothers and sister and didn't like the fireworks so we didn't get much sleep!

 he spent the night in a crate in the kitchen!
