Scott's new euphonium

 You ask, what is a euphonium?????  Greg and I asked that too!  It is basically a baby tuba!  In 5th grade you can choose to take regular music class, band, or strings.  They let the kids try out a bunch of instruments in the spring and choose.  Scott was all set to play the trumpet but went to class and saw the shiny new euphoniums and changed his mind.  We are renting this from the school and at first Greg said it sounded like an elephant but Scott has really made good progress and can play several recognizable short songs now!

Everyone wanted to try it out!  and we have learned that you really are not supposed to play with your cheeks all puffed out like all 3 of them are doing in this picture.
