Beginning of School

 We went to school for meet the teacher on the day before school began.  This is Ashley's classroom

 She found the books quickly!  Below is her sweet teacher Mrs. Baldoria.  She has been teaching a long time, has 2 sons who graduated from the school, and Ashley loves her!

 Below is Ryan with his teacher, Mr. Fountain-who plays the guitar and is from New Zealand!  I could listen to him talk all day-such a cool accent!

 Here are some shots of Scott's classroom-they get their exercise-it is on the 3rd floor of the school!

 Here is Scott with Ms Van Swol-she is great and seems really focused on helping the kids become more responsible, independent, and prepared for middle school.  She is very nice, has taught in several international schools, and has family in the Chicago area.

 I drove them to school Wed, Thurs, and Fri.  Here they are all ready and excited to go!

 Yes this is one of those sad-I can't believe that she is getting so grown up pictures.  We got out all together at the "big school", said goodbye to the boys, and then Ashley and I walked over to her building.

 Here she is all ready and excited to begin Kindergarten!  Still now-a month after school has started, she comes home everyday tell me how great it is! 

 I spent some time taking care of some things-uniforms, new car sticker, etc-at the school and it felt VERY strange to do all of that without my little sidekick who had always been along with me.  I also got to spend some time catching up with some other mom friends in the cafeteria at school.  I miss the extra time I got to have with her but am SO happy that she is happy at school and am finding plenty of things to do to keep myself busy!
