Ryan's Birthday!

 This was Saturday morning, March 10th-Ryan's actual birthday-after we had seen what Greg had brought us from Australia and what our friends had sent to the kids with Greg.  Ryan was excited that his daddy was coming home regardless, but it was a bonus that he wouldn't have to wait until Sunday to open his birthday presents!

 We went swimming and of course, Ryan wanted a picnic lunch.  Ashley was going to join the boys in their "kids club" lunch but then decided to come join me and Greg instead.

I had told Ryan while Greg was in Australia, that when he got back we would go out to eat to celebrate Ryan's birthday and he got to choose the place.  I was angling to try out the new Johnny Rockets that had just opened but Ryan wanted the people to sing to him at TGI Fridays-this is fun to me because Greg absolutely HATES that kind of attention drawing stuff when it is done to him!  So last Sunday after very slow service at lunch, we ordered a sundae for dessert and waited and waited and waited for everyone to come sing to Ryan-our whipped cream was beginning to melt so we finally dug in anyway!

 Yes Ryan is licking off some whipped cream-I love Ashley's new sundress that I found her for about $5 on the clearance rack!

 Here he is reveling in the fact that we said he could eat his entire bowl of special birthday ice cream that they brought when they sang to him-Ashley was not very happy that he wouldn't share!
