Arches National Park
It was sandy here in the beginning and there were cactus plants off the sides of the trails-small ones
Above and below is Landscape Arch
Below is the part of the trail I told Greg that I should get lots of bravery points for-we were scrambling up rocks-thankful that the boys carried all my stuff up and down for me and provided hands when I needed them
The views on the far side were worth the scrambling
below is Greg
below-Scott and Ryan
Many more amazing views!
Adding on to rock cairns-you can't walk by one and not add some more!
Another scary to me-scramble on the rocks part
I was comfy sitting here and didn't want to go any farther
This is Double O arch that I could see from my place to sit on the rocks
The boys hiked down and over to it and we took their picture in the bottom arch
I moved down to have a picture made with Ashley
then we began our trek back to the trailhead and the car
It was not quite what I had expected based on pictures I had seen but a beautiful park! I was expecting more free-standing arches and they are there, just not what we hiked to see.
