2nd new post of the day-The kids and I volunteer for Loaves and Fishes-an awesome food donation charity in town-we pick up food from grocery stores and take it to food pantries or soup kitchens. There are three kids in the picture but it is hard to see Ryan for all the food we had picked up that particular day!
Ryan's class went on an amazing field trip to Roper Mtn. Science Center-they got to program this super cool robot!
and learn about sea creatures and pet this stingray
Max says "what is this big gold thing that makes such loud noise?????"
I went as a chaperone to Spartanburg for Scott's band to be in a competition-below they are warming up and I actually got a picture of him playing-bad thing is that the tubas are always in the back and we can never actually see him.
Here they are getting ready to compete on-stage. They were grade and scored really well in the competition
I saw this car one day in the Bi-Lo parking lot near our house-it says Google maps-street view on the car-very cool, it drives around and takes video that we see when we look at the street view online
Beautiful dogwood trees in the neighborhood where our church is! We had a white one in our yard growing up and I always thought it was so neat how the leaves are the shape of the cross and the little indentations on the leaves like the nail holes in his hands and the blood-cool that God created a beautiful spring tree to remind us that his Son became our Savior by dying on a cross for our sins!
Ryan at the Lego store outside Atlanta where we stopped and let him do some birthday shopping! Legos are one of his very favorite things!
