Ryan's Birthday Party

Ryan's birthday party was March 26-this is my homemade lego brick cake.  He requested it and told me to use oreos for the bumps on top.  He asked for blue but I begged to do yellow since I couldn't imagine how gross everyone's teeth would look with blue icing!

 I had an idea to spell out his name in legos but was busy icing the cake so Ashley put the idea together for me and Ryan loved it!

 

 Two of Ryan's classmates joined us and we went to Mountain Goat Indoor Climbing Gym.  The kids all had a blast!

 There was this big boulder in the middle of the room that you could climb on top of from all sides

 

 and you could also climb on all the walls around the room too!

 Apparently sticking out your tongue helps you climb better!

 There were thick pads on the floor below!  Ryan jumped on purpose!

 Having a great time!

 Jump and give five to Dad on the way down!

 Ashley thought jumping off the boulder was great fun!

 Afterward we ate the lego brick!

 and they all jumped on the trampoline

 Ryan got some neat gifts from his friends-these tetris cubes, a great new chapter book, barnes and noble gift card, and a book of practical jokes-that he has taken to his room and won't let any of the rest of us read-wonder what he is plotting????????
