The Scoop on Scott

Beginning work on his Science Fair Project-growing salt crystals!  It was harder than we thought it would be!

finally crystal growth after MANY attempts!

 Some friends projects

Swimming Unit in PE-I walked by and got to watch them playing basketball one Friday!

Scott got a Brent Pride award last Friday!  and was SUPER excited about it!  I cannot believe that our firstborn will be 11 in just a few more weeks and in only one more week will be spending the day in an orientation for MIDDLE SCHOOL!  How did he get to be so grown up?

This past Saturday, we had planned to go to a Taekwondo Tournament but then found out that Lower School Track and Field day was the same day!  Scott really wanted to go and since it was his last year to be able to participate he went along with a classmate's family.  He did hurdles, long jump, high jump, javelin-his favorite, and some relays.  The boys had a terrific time together-we'll find out soon if he earned medals in any events.  I love the Coach Manas who has organized all this-she practiced with the kids after school last week and encourages them to do their best, be good sports, and gives them bonus points on their PE grades for medals-a great motivation!
