Water Fun Day

We laughed at the non-Korean children who wanted to "share" their kimbop-Korean sushi with YunSuh and Alex!

All the kids had a terrific time! So glad they do this!

Both boys were planning to go to this tournament but it was the same day as lower school track and field day at school. Scott said that he really wanted to do that since it was his last chance. So he went with a friend and his family.

Ashley found another place to play hopscotch!

This is Ryan's first match of the day-he is in the red gear.

He won his first match and then lost his second because his opponent was a much more experienced higher belt level.

Ryan had a terrific day and was super proud of the silver medal he earned! We have really seen his self confidence and independence grow this year. Below he is with the official who gave him the medal and above he asked for a picture with Coach Jon Jon from school!

Scott's 11th birthday!

2nd post of the day-Our 3 person birthday is tomorrow but we celebrated Scott's with his friends at the beginning of the month, before things got so busy with the end of school.

Scott wanted to have over Emilio-whose birthday is also May 29th, Jude, and Deniz-who both have early June birthdays. So we sang "Happy Birthday dear Scott, Emilio, Deniz, and Jude. . . ." We ordered Pizza Hut, ate ice cream cake, went to play lasertag, and came back to our house.
