Scuba Scott

Scuba Scott is the nickname that his teacher Angus-from Scotland gave Scott.  He was very excited to get to dive again and though they would only let him go 10 feet deep the dive site they took us to was very interesting!

from the internet-The wreck at Lighthouse was a Japanese World War II landing craft. It was bombed just before landing with a large shipment of cement destined for a gun emplacement. The wreck is in very shallow water - 3m average - and is broken up with the hull in two pieces. The rocks that you will see are actually bags of cement!

Mr. Angus told Scott that the ship was so full of chocolate that it sank before it could get to land and so he should look for chocolate bars as he swam around :)

 below are the clownfish

Playing aquadisk-a cool underwater frisbee-wish Steven, Stan, Kim and I had had one of these to play with in the pool!

They brought down this square-made of pvc pip for Scott to swim through

 Family underwater picture!
Now we are back above water
Scott is showing off his chocolate!  He was excited and happy to eat it but a little suspicious of Angus' story-he said that the weights holding down the chocolate looked just like the ones on his weight belt and the chocolate didn't taste old!
PADI says that you have to be 10 years old to get a Junior Open Water certification-I think we can guess what he will want for his next birthday!
