Beginning of School

The boys went to school for the first day on Friday of last week.  They missed Tuesday, Wed, and Thurs because of all the flooding here.  Ashley didn't go back until today-Monday the 13th.  I will post more about the flooding later-our neighborhood is on high ground and we have good drainage so we are fine. However SO many people here are not-pray for them as you think about it.

Just wanted to post a few pictures from their first days-the boys new teachers seem very nice and they both were excited to be getting back to school.  They both were happy to have at least a few familiar faces in their classes.

 Here is Ashley all ready to go this morning-she said it was a pink day for her.  We think every day is a pink day for her

 Here she is talking to Teacher Boom-her teacher from school last year is one of her teachers along with Teacher Pearl who was her summer camp reading class teacher.

She was happy to be back again-since they follow the Philippine school calendar they have been having class for about 6 weeks now.
