More Music of Christmas!

Ryan's orchestra had a Christmas concert-his bass is the one wearing the Santa hat-I loved it!  It makes him easy to find

 Above is the whole group

Below is a picture of one of the doors from their door decorating contest-the theme they chose was Mickey's 12 days of Christmas and they are all funny school things-some funnier than others-The Golden Dog named Frost is the administrator's therapy dog who visits the school a lot and even has his picture in the yearbook. 2 kids puking, 3 days too many (school should have ended the Friday before it did for Christmas break), 4 failed tests, 5 detentions, 6 untucked shirts-a no no according to dress code, 7 wasted hours, 8 phones a ringing, 9 projects due, 10 sugar highs, 11 dress down passes, 12 stressed out teachers-really a funny door!
Scott's way to help "carry" Ryan's stool to the car.
Scott's band had a Christmas concert too-hard to take pictures that aren't blurry-we sit farther up in the auditorium to see him-there is stadium seating and he's in the back, but then the camera flash doesn't reach all the way

Scott practiced one Saturday morning at Furman and then played with this group called Tuba Christmas-the concert was outside the Hyatt downtown and really fun!

Though I am beginning to think that he likes sitting in the back or most difficult place to see!
so I just snuck around back for a picture

Ashley-who had already been to a roller skating birthday party that morning-

 After the concert
There were 2 friends from school who also played-Michael and Jennie
Afterwards, the boys went to see Last Jedi, Ashley and I looked around some more at the Festival of Trees inside the Hyatt

thought the architecture firm that wrapped their trees packages in blueprints was so clever
Ashley loved looking at all the pretty trees!

We saw Santa and Mrs. Claus on a motorcycle
while walking to do a couple of errands and enjoying peppermint hot chocolate from Starbucks!
and saw one of the smallest dogs we have ever seen-he was about as long as one of the squares in the walkway!
