2nd post of the day
Crinkle Cookies-I have made these with lemon and chocolate cake mix and they were both delicious. I think they would be pretty with red velvet cake mix for Christmas or Valentine's Day.
1 box cake mix
1 egg, lightly beaten
8 oz. container of Cool Whip
1/2-1 cup powdered sugar
Preheat oven to 350. Combine cake mix, egg, and Cool Whip. The batter will be very sticky. Form dough into balls-I found that using a scoop works well. Then roll in powdered sugar. Bake for 8-10 minutes, allow to cool 1 minute on cookie sheet and then remove to cool completely.
Pretzel Candies
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or tin foil. Cover the sheet with pretzels laid out in a single layer-I used small twist pretzels or you could use the square ones-just not something with large holes. Put one Hershey kiss candy on top of each pretzel. Put them in the oven at 200 for 7 minutes. When they come out the kisses will be soft, quickly push 2 m & m candies into the chocolate-I used red and green ones. Let your candies cool a little bit and then put them in the freezer for about 5 minutes to make them easier to remove from the paper or foil. These are a great sweet and salty treat!
