As an only child it is interesting and usually quite entertaining to watch siblings together-whether it is our 3 kids, their cousins, or Greg and "our" 2 sisters. Emily is in the middle and Jodi on the right. Emily is 9 years younger than Greg and I which made her about Scott's age when we got married. There is only 3 years between us and Jodi but she was mad at me and cried the night of our rehearsal dinner because I was "taking her brother away." I think that she likes me a little better now (though she is unhappy that Ashley, Scott, and I hi-hijacked "her" birthday). All in good fun, really! This picture above is SO typical of the 3 of them together and it makes us smile!

sparklers and playing with other kids and dogs on the beach our last night there!
This was apparently the first time Ashley remembers doing sparklers and she asked me after I had ALREADY handed her one that was lit "Mommy what happens when the fire gets close to my fingers??????" She makes me laugh all the time. I told her that they wouldn't burn down that far!
Uncle Chris was great to let the boys have turns to help him fly his power kite!
Time at the beach gets better and better with these sweet cousins!
